The comprehensive exhibition organization and preparation work for China International Digital Economy Expo 2023 (referred to as the Expo) has been fully launched. On June 12th, a symposium on the comprehensive exhibition deployment of China International Digital Economy Expo 2023 was successfully held in Shijiazhuang to improve coordination mechanisms and understand the exhibition needs of enterprises. In total, more than 100 people attended this symposium. Participants include Zhang Xin, Director of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Division of Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province, Liu Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, officials from Shijiazhuang Municipal Department of Industry and Information Technology, as well as representatives from China Center for Information Industry Development, the National Digital Technology Platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, China Association of Trade in Services, Hebei Federation of Digital Economics, Hebei Province Information Industry & Informatization Association, Hebei Software and Information service Industry Association, and key digital economy leading companies such as Tesla, Vertiv, State Grid, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Tower, China Broadnet, ZTE, CETC (China Electronics Technology Group Corporation), CEC (China Electronics Corporation), Baidu, and Huawei.

During the symposium, Zhang Xin introduced the overall preparations for the Expo. China International Digital Economy Expo 2023 is scheduled to be held in early September at the Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) International Convention and Exhibition Center. CIDEE 2023 will highlight distinctive features, compare with the advanced, innovate the organizing mode, enhance the practicality of the event, and focus on the innovative development and integration empowerment of the industrial internet in digital economy. The Expo 2023 will emphasize on attracting leading companies and inviting heavyweight guests. It will host the opening ceremony and industrial internet keynote forums and a series of forum activities, industrial internet-themed exhibitions, and digital technology innovation achievement releases. The Expo will also organize a series of ecological conferences, professional competitions, and business matching activities in industrial internet. The event will adopt various formats such as offline attendance, online broadcasting, physical exhibitions, and virtual exhibitions, facilitating simultaneous interaction and integration of online and offline platforms. Liu Ying introduced the supporting activities and exhibition-related preferential policies of CIDEE 2023. During the symposium, nearly a hundred representatives from participating companies put forward suggestions on how to conduct comprehensive exhibitions. Tesla, Vertiv, State Grid, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Tower, China Broadnet, ZTE, CETC, CEC, Huawei, PConline, Inspur, iFLYTEK, SuperMap, Kingdee, UFIDA, and Visionox expressed their willingness to constantly participate in the exhibition.

The symposium emphasized that CIDEE 2023 will showcase various aspects of the industrial internet industry chain, including 5G/6G, the Internet of Things, and other basic networks, comprehensive/regional/featured industrial internet platforms, industrial software, big data and cloud computing/edge computing, intelligent computing, network/data security, identification resolution, artificial intelligence and robotics and other new technologies and new products, platform-based design, personalized customization, network collaboration, intelligent manufacturing, service extension, and digital management in industries including iron and steel, petrochemicals, equipment, biopharmaceuticals, electronic information, and automobiles. It will also demonstrate the enablement of new scenarios and examples in collaborative innovation, safety production, industrial clusters, and rural revitalization. The Expo 2023 will highlight the latest technologies, best products, optimal models, and exemplary scenarios of the digital economy. The Expo will further enrich and enhance the internationalization of the Expo, with an international exhibition area set up to promote the development of the digital economy industry. It will organize activities such as professional visitor attendance and matchmaking, one-on-one negotiations, industrial cooperation matchmaking, and the release of new achievements in information technology innovation. At the same time, CIDEE 2023 will adopt a market-oriented approach and provide exhibitors with a professional, high-quality, and efficient marketing and promotion platform.
